* 內容：	Press Release<BR><BR><BR>The SEMIKRON Solution Centres Network, a first in the power electronics industry.<BR><BR>SEMIKRON unifies their best performing companies for power electronics assemblies, SEMISTACK&reg;, into a global network. <BR><BR>The expertise of nine Solution Centres from each continent in South Africa, USA, France, United Kingdom, Brazil, South Korea, Australia, India and Slovenia are combined into this unique network. This sets a new benchmark for the Centres resulting in ultimate efficiency, quality of production and service.<BR><BR> “Our strong growth rate during 2004 in the business of power electronics assemblies worldwide necessitated the establishment of a global Solution Centers Network that designs, develops and manufactures SEMISTACK&reg;”, says Peter Frey, Managing Director Sales/Marketing. “Markets such as wind, traction, elevators, electric drives, and electric vehicles, which prefer complete assembled systems to individual power components, have created new growth opportunities for a network of this calibre. The main advantage for the customer is the close contact at all stages of a project.”<BR><BR>More than five decades ago Semikron started integrating semiconductors, capacitors, cooling management systems and drivers, into power assemblies called stacks. SEMISTACK&reg;, the SEMIKRON stack family, boasts more than 15,000 different designs, based on diodes, thyristors and IGBT modules, and has been successfully implemented in the industry. These designs were developed in several SEMIKRON Solution Centres, making SEMIKRON the world’s leader in stack design and manufacturing.<BR><BR>The Solution Centres unify their resources in purchasing, development and service. Mutual assistance is given to capitalize on skills in different fields with varied local requirements. With the experience gained as a long-standing partner in power to the main electrotechnical industries, SEMIKRON has successfully diversified in the most arduous applications of elevators, wind, traction and marine. For example, 57% of globally installed power capacity in variable speed generators is powered by SEMIKRON.<BR><BR>Global support for local service is the philosophy of the SEMIKRON Solution Centres by providing development and production capabilities as close as possible to the customers’ applications.
